FUNCTIONALITY

The users can order their first card, which works seamlessly with their existing bank account, right in the app. The functionality of the app consists of direct shopping from the retailers, card information, management of your account and profile along with the statistics of the impact made for environment improvement.

Any time you use the HELPFUL app and buy products from the partners using the card, you have a chance to both get up to 10% cashback and plant a tree at the same time. The scheme has never been easier: you click on the link of the store you choose, pay with your newly obtained HELPFUL card and voilà – the cashback is in your pocket!

Besides, the card holders are able to keep record of the impact made from every transaction carried out – from the number of trees planted and oxygen released to the amount of CO2 avoided. Watch as your carbon footprint is rapidly fading away!

In the first place, searching for the most versatile and advanced Cross-platform Mobile Technology, our choice fell on the young yet promising platform Flutter. Dart language supported on the given platform fosters the speed of performing operations to be incredibly fast, which can’t help but make Flutter even more attractive.
Among other perks typical for Flutter framework let us instance:

Same UI and Business Logic in All Platforms: almost 97% of shared codebase and absolutely no problems with the UI consistency on different platforms
Increased Time-to-Market Speed;
Development for all platforms (iOS, Android, Tablets) with minimum number of device specific issues;

Regarding the field of mobile integration in the framework of the development of the Helpful application, we are pleased to announce close cooperation with innovative AI-based platforms such as Onfido and Plaid ensuring high-quality identity safety, financial freedom and beautiful consumer experience.
On top of all this, in the case of security issues we have also confided in the unchanging favorites – Face ID and Touch ID integrations.

Launch

The HELPFUL team was also incredibly excited to unveil the current project on World Environment Day (5 June 2021) with a mission to inspire people to put the ‘Planet First’. By constructing a ten foot tall ‘Planet Earth’ installation, the team wanted to draw attention to emerging climate changes affecting the lives of billions of people every single day.
