Nick Hencher – Director
Nick has been creating information products and platforms for over 20 years with a track record of creating and delivering strategic, first-to-market offerings. Nick develops and sources the technologies that enable the delivery of customised solutions and runs the Contexxt Lab. Prior to Contexxt, Nick was Head of Product for Reuters’s premier offering in the Americas and then, in Europe, was the lead product manager of Reuters’s first internet-delivered professional offering. Subsequently, Nick created the digital platform strategy for IMG to serve clients such as Man Utd, the British Open and the European Tour. Nick currently splits his time between the UK and Contexxt’s development centre in Ukraine.
Karen Hobart – Director
Karen has twenty years’ experience in business planning and product strategy both within start-up and multi-national corporate environments. Karen works with clients to design solutions and business practices which address specific business objectives and end-user needs. Before Contexxt, Karen held a variety of roles in financial services, fashion and media companies, to include Reuters where she led a marketing change programme which transformed the way Reuters targets and serves its customer base. Karen has a MBA from Darden, University of Virginia and a BA in English Literature from the University of Texas.
Andy Hatcher – Director
Andrew has over 25 years’ experience working in financial services and media markets in the US and Europe. Initially working at Reuters in product management and marketing, eventually as VP of New Ventures where he led the start-up and ultimate trade sale of a seafood trading portal in Singapore. Returning to Europe he was the co-founder of a series of start-ups in financial services and education including Investing for Good, The Working Knowledge Group and the Applied Knowledge Network. He is a Chartered Marketer and has written a range of books on business subjects including innovation, metrics and marketing strategy. Andrew has an MBA from the Cass Business School and a BSc in Engineering from the University of London.
